Booking T’s and C’s
DEPOSIT: We are pleased that you wish to book your holiday with us! After your written request and your confirmation of reservation, we need a deposit of 30% of the total rental price for a definite reservation of the apartment by transfer. Our bank details will be sent to you with the reservation confirmation.
If your deposit is not received within 7 days, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation.
We ask you to transfer the deposit only upon receipt of the reservation confirmation.
Should you not make use of your reservation, we ask you to cancel it in writing. A non-transfer of the deposit does not replace the written cancellation.
CANCELLATION: We ask for your understanding that we have to settle a (partial) cancellation of the booking according to the following scheme:
Up to 30 days before arrival: 0%
8 to 29 days before arrival 50%
1 to 7 days before arrival: 100%
In case of no-show, late arrival and early departure: 100%.
Please note that a reservation must be cancelled.
A processing fee of 30 euros will be due for any cancellation.
If we are prevented from leasing the property as a landlord by force majeure or for other important reasons, an extraordinary right of termination is granted. The notice of termination shall be given by us in writing (e-mail or by post). In this case, already paid reservation costs or the rent will be refunded in full. Further claims and damages are excluded.
PAYMENT METHODS: We ask for your understanding that we will only accept payment of the cost of accommodation in cash on the day of arrival or as a transfer before the start of the stay. We do not accept EC and credit cards.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES: The apartment is available from 3 pm on the day of arrival.
If you wish to arrive before 3 pm or after 7 pm we ask you to ask at an early stage so that we can arrange this if necessary.
On the day of departure, we ask you to vacate the apartment by 12 noon.
TRAVEL INSURANCE AND LIABILITY: To avoid inconvenience, we advise you to take out a travel cancellation insurance.
We don’t ask you to pay a bond, but you as a tenant assume the liability for damage to all objects present in the loft during your stay.
In case of damage we would like to ask you as tenant to inform us without delay. Any damage not disclosed must be repaired at your expense. Damage caused during the rental period will be corrected without delay, but subject to customary delivery times and craftsman availability.
We as landlords are not liable for damages caused by the failure or due to the disruption of the water and energy supply as well as a result of noise pollution from third parties.
The stay in the apartment and on our property (natural site!) is at your own risk. We cannot accept any liability for damage suffered to persons, animals and moving goods. There is only a temporary rental agreement.
We point out in particular that our two large animals (donkey and pony) stand on a pasture secured with electric fence. If you want to visit the animals in close proximity or feed, we will gladly take you there for the first time for a safety overview.
HOUSE DESCRIPTION: See “MANUAL” in the Loft. We will respect your privacy and expect the same from our tenants. In the case that guests violate the rules of the house, threaten others or use the property contrary to the rental agreement, we reserve the right to terminate the contract without notice. The guest must pay for any damages.
PETS: If you wish to bring your pet with you, please contact us in advance. In our farm there are several cats, a dog, donkey, pony and outdoor wild animals. Therefore there are certain restrictions, especially for hounds, which are to be kept on the site.
SMOKING: The entire building is a smoke-free zone. We kindly ask our guests to refrain from smoking in the farm. Please contribute to a healthy environment for all as well as to preserve our lovingly restored holiday home. Thank you very much! If you want to smoke outside, we will provide you with an ashtray on the terrace upon request
LOUNDRY: An optional use of washing machine and dryer is possible on request. The costs are € 10 per wash including detergent.
Washing machine and dryer are located outside the Loft. For stays longer than 7 days we offer you a weekly change of linen (bed, table linen, towels).
INTERNET: Our apartment is equipped with a free internet connection (WiFi). However, a permanent availability can not always be guaranteed.
